Junior IT System Administrator (m/w/d)

To strengthen our team, we are offering the following permanent full-time position (40 hours per week) at Hamburg HQ at the earliest possible date:
Your tasks
  • Responding to internal inquiries regarding IT support issues (help desk, first-level support) in German and English
  • Analyzing, finding solutions for, and implementing solutions to hardware and software problems on site or remotely
  • Coordinating and performing installation and maintenance of hardware and software (e.g., provision of Windows-based laptops, performing Windows upgrades)
  • Providing support for setting up peripheral devices (e.g., printers, webcams, mobile devices)
  • Creation and updating of technical documentation, manuals, and FAQs
  • Documentation of equipment inventory and support in tracking hardware assignments
  • Contact person for external services for printers, telecommunications, and mobile phones
  • Support in the introduction of new software tools and IT training initiatives
What we expect
  • Completed IT training or comparable IT-related further education
  • Initial professional experience in IT support or system administration
  • Basic network knowledge and experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice or comparable systems)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft products such as MS Office 365, MS Teams, Azure Active Directory
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality and good documentation and communication skills
  • A structured and proactive approach to work and a strong focus on finding solutions
  • Excellent German skills and good written and spoken business English
  • Resume in English
